Writing Update! “Castlemains Crush”

Amazing news—my rural romance, “Castlemaine Crush,” is finally ready for pitching.

It has been a while since I updated you on my writing projects generally and this particular project, which is 18 months behind schedule. I have loads of excuses for my tardiness (in the last 18 months my mother developed pancreatic cancer and died, and then there was the estate stuff, travel, other work etc) but I have managed to get a heaven-knows-what-number-draft together that I am happy with. Finally back in the fiction writing game!

Following an unexpected break-up, unemployed musician Alice, her cello and faithful mutt, Meathead, leave Melbourne to seek a new life at her Aunt’s Castlemaine winery. When she meets violinist, Martin, she hopes that her status as a shy singleton will change for good.
