One of the things I learnt about through the many COVID lockdowns we had here in Victoria, was the availability of devices to turn your home work space into a standing writing desk.

I picked up a standing desk add-on from Officeworks. My one has plenty of room for my stationery, laptop and I got one with a separate keyboard space. Yes, I am one of those folks that attaches a separate keyboard to their laptop – old fashioned, but I did learn to type on a manual typewriter, so it is easier for me. As you can see in the photo, I have an antique wiring desk with a leather top. The device I bought fits on it easily (you can buy, smaller or larger ones) and doesn’t damage the desk surface.

If you are like me and spend hours at a time writing. I really recommend getting one of these.
