I’ve done it! I’ve reviewed all of the suggested edits to my manuscript and made lots of little changes. Every tweak and suggested expansion (or contraction) of the draft has gone a long way to improving the overall flow of the story. I am really happy with how things are going. I’ve sent the document back to the publisher and now await the next round of feedback (it is being subjected to the line-by-line edit now).
Now I wait. I have tonnes of things to do and loads of other projects to attend to in the meantime, but that anxious anticipation will dog me until I get the next round of feedback. It’s all part of the process, and will be worth it in the end, but I still get anxious about it.
The writing process is a winding road, but one worth travelling.

Great to hear Sarah. Edits are a tedious task.
