Who is your muse? Mine is Serendipity. No she is not one of the original 9 muses of Ancient Greece and Rome, but very much a muse for me. She is always there pointing out opportunities, guiding me towards new ideas and alike. No she isn’t a ‘completer’ but is certainly encouraging. For some creative people their muse is nature, alcohol or drugs, or even a living person.
The original nine muses are: Urania (astronomy), Polyhymnia (hymns), Melpomene (tragic theatre), Thalia (comedic theatre), Clio (history), Calliope (epic poetry), Euterpe (song and elegiac poetry), Terpsichore (dance), and Erato (lyrical poetry). An amazing bunch of ladies any of whom I would be happy to encounter.
