ABOUT SARAH
Sarah Jackson is a novelist specialising in cosy mysteries, romance, humour, lifestyle non-fiction (cooking/gardening) and children’s fiction.
Sarah regularly publishes book reviews via her blog, through Sisters In Crime (Australia), Amazon, GoodReads, and is an Early Reviewer for Librarything.
She is the author of the fab cosy mystery “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” first published through Serenade Publishing (2022).
Sarah has also self published a number of short stories, a gardening guide for beginners, a children’s book “Pete and the Persian Bottle”, and is the co-author of a series of mini cookbooks.
Since 2023, Sarah has written plays for the all abilities theatres group, Blue Roo Theatre Company, which is based in Brisbane, Australia.
Sarah is an active member of “Sisters in Crime”, and the Australian Society of Authors. Sarah is a judge for the 2026 Davitt Awards, Sisters in Crime Australia.
Sarah was born in 1969, in Brisbane, Australia and moved to Melbourne in 2005. For the first twenty years of her working life, Sarah was employed in a variety of roles, including government administration, welfare works, evaluations, ethics & investigations, justice and university administration(medical faculty & student conduct).
Sarah has completed a number of writing courses through Writer’s Victoria and University of Melbourne (inc. Screenwriting). Her tertiary studies include a Graduate Certificate in University Management from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Queensland, and a Bachelor of Arts (Humanities, Film and Media Studies) from Griffith University.
