Web page work

I am currently working on my children’s book “The Persian Bottle”.  It is very close to the manuscript assessment stage (in fact I intend to lodge it for review in early November – assuming that I can finish my latest editing in reasonable time).  As part of the preparation process I am setting up the related webpage.  This will not be attached to this website when it is ready to go (as children’s books and Sci Fi/crime are not really compatible genres).  I will set up a separate site and this book will published under Sarah Edwards.  Anyway if you fancy checking out my webpage development so far (and it is very sketchy) you can use the link in the page listing on the blog or use this link: https://sarahjacksonwriter.com/the-persian-bottle/

A milestone is reached

I am veimagesry proud to announce that I have received my first royalties payment from Kindle/Amazon! Okay I know that it is not for  a huge amount, in fact it will barely cover the cost of lunch, but it is a start. I am starting to feel like a real writer (and when I run out of savings I am sure that I will feel even more like a real writer :).

A new cycle begins

I have finally done it! I have given up the rat race (a little) in order to dedicate more time to writing.  I am still planning to do a little paid work through my own business (e-book formatting and transcription work) but otherwise it is all about the writing.  A bit of a risk for sure, but I have been planning to do this for about ten years, so I guess it is time to give it a go.

Wish me luck
